Evil Eyes.

By walking through the dark street at night,

They called me like they own me in their sight,

I avoided as I didn’t want to fight,

Got back to home thought now its alright,

Next evening I saw the same evil eyes,

It made me colder than the ice,

One started following me through my place,

Tried to pull my skirt’s lace,

Get off from my way, I said in a slight fear,

He smiled as he couldn’t hear,

Sssss…only one time baby, he said in lust,

I ran so fast after giving a slap & throwing on dust,

I spoke to my mother in terror & fear,

Nothing came out but only a tear,

She said women are meant for it,

I said no mother I don’t get it,

She said a scarf on face and covered paths,

Can only make females ride their own carts,

But mother I don’t wear anything cheap,

How can you blame dustbins when people create heap,

Next morning I put kurti on my body,

Thought won’t get noticed by any-body,

Same man came & pulled my scarf,

Slapped my publically & began to laugh,

Said you bitch, how could you slap,

You think your this attire will make us clap,

No you dog, you proved my mother wrong,

But I don’t fear you, not any long,

Few females came out with sticks in their hand,

As I shouted, “ Are there any braves on this land”,

They got beated like prisoners,

Still this evil prevails & this is a curse,

How people judge women on clothes & attire,

When men just want to set their bad fire,

Men for bad eyes will never get the blame,

Women will be questioned as they only created the flame.

Society won’t support women for this case,

Goddesses will never come out of this phase,

For having a well-cultured girl will all be in stress

And for all bad happenings will blame her “Cheap Dress”.

– By Cheap Dress

Not that all men are Evils, not that all women are Virtuous but these lines are for those evil eyes who are toxic to society, and for those innocent victim girls who are blamed for no reason. Everyone deserves to be safe, may a BOY or a GIRL.
